Sandhya wonders how Chaturi had known Sooraj's new phone number. She contacts the number from which Chaturi had called but the number goes out of service. She notices that the envelope containing Chaturi's letter is dated four months back and does not have her village stamp. She tells Sooraj that Chaturi is in danger. They decide to report to the police.
